How to Report Possible Registration Violations

Offender Levels and Explanations

Beginning in November 2007, a new system was established that placed Sex Offenders in different Tier levels. The levels and a brief explanation of each are detailed below. When viewing the offender listing, you will notice the Level for that individual on the right of the listing.

Level 3 Sex offenders, habitual, and aggravated sex offenders are required to verify their home address every ninety days (90) and are registered sex offenders for life.
Level 2 offenders have to verify their home address on a semi-annual (6 months) basis and are registered for 25 years
Level 1 offenders verify their home address annually (1 year) and are registered for 15 years.
