Patrol’s primary function is to provide continuous, effective, and efficient 24 hour patrol service to the community. Their responsibilities are to respond to calls of service, traffic direction and control, traffic accident investigation, preliminary investigation of crimes and incidents, enforcement of federal and state laws, and local ordinances, apprehension of offenders, prevention patrol, crime prevention activities, maintenance of order, emergency services and much more.
