Spring City Wide Clean Up

This Spring you no longer have to take your bulk waste to different locations around the City, you can put it at the curbside! Allied Waste and the City of Shawnee are working together this Spring to provide CurbSide Bulk Waste Pick-Up in April of 2010.

2010 Spring Clean Up Schedule

IF YOUR POLYCART PICK UP IS ON:	YOUR SPRING CLEAN UP DAY IS:
MONDAY	Wednesday April 7, 2010
TUESDAY	Wednesday April 14, 2010
WEDNESDAY	Wednesday April 7, 2010
THURSDAY	Wednesday April 21, 2010
FRIDAY	Wednesday April 28, 2010

* Bulk Waste Restrictions

Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners are accepted, provided a qualified technician has properly drained the Freon and the certification issued is placed on the unit.
Brush is to be cut into 3-foot lengths, tied and bundled, no more thank 35lbs per bundle.
No concrete or rocks.
Smaller items should be placed in containers, not in Polycarts.
No construction or demolition materials.
**No Hazardous Waste.
**No batteries, paints, tires, oils, or liquid substances.
No dead animal carcasses.
All Bulky Waste must be placed at the curb or roadside.

**Household hazardous waste may be disposed of, for a fee, to Shawnee residents who bring their water bill and matching driver's license to 1621 S Portland in Oklahoma City.

Fall Bulk Waste Curb-Side Clean Up

Allied Waste and the City of Shawnee work together every Fall, assisting with curb-side bulk waste clean up. You can place your bulk items at the curb on one scheduled Wednesday of October in 2010.
