Linda Peterson
Commissioner Peterson
graduated from the University of Alabama in 1981 with a bachelor of
science degree in the field of metallurgical engineering. She has been
employed at Eaton Corporation in Shawnee. Commissioner Peterson served as
Vice Mayor until May 5th, 2008.
Her work history also includes a long list of supervisory and operations directors positions for a variety of manufacturing industries, including Green Garden Gallery in Montgomery, Ala.; Harmon Motive, Indianapolis, Ind.; and Robert Shaw Controls, in Knoxville, Tenn.
Her community activities include serving as a board officer and member
of the Alpha Mothers Club and KidSpace project organizer and volunteer
coordinator.
