Mayor Mainord was born and raised in the Bowlegs / Seminole and graduated from Seminole High School. He attended Oklahoma University and had an extended career in the food industry including executive positions at LeGout, Kelloggs, White Swan Foods, US Foodservice, Chefs Requested Foods, and was Co-owner of Fiddler Marketing.
Additionally Mayor Mainord was the owner of Power Transmission Company in Seminole. He was selected as the one of the nation's Outstanding Young Businessman in America in 1977. Currently he is President of WM Enterprises, a business consulting firm in Shawnee after retiring in October of 2011.
Mayor Mainord spent eight (8) years on the Shawnee Airport Advisory board and was chairman of the board during the runway extension North across MacArthur Street. Additionally he was chairman of the Meadows, a manufacturing facility in Edmond that employ the handicapped for four (4) years and an advisory board member for the Oklahoma City Food Bank for six (6) years.
Mainord has been married for 50 years to Amy Beth Bawcum Mainord and they have two grown children who graduated from Shawnee High School and now reside in Louisiana as well as four grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Mainord have been members of the First United Presbyterian Church for 30 years where Wes currently is an elder.
Commissioner Linda Agee worked as a Computer Systems Analyst for the Federal Aviation Administration and retired in 2007 after 30 years of service. She currently owns and operates Linda’s Marquee Real Estate in Shawnee.
She and her husband of 43 years Elton Agee have lived in Shawnee for 12 years. They have two grown children and three grandsons who reside in Oklahoma City and Yukon.
Linda is also a volunteer for Project Safe in Shawnee, the Pottawatomie County Historical Society, AARP, National Active and Retired Federal Employees, and the Shawnee Lake Leaseholders Alliance.
Commissioner James Harrod graduated Seminole High School and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from East Central University with a double major in Math and Physics and a double minor in Biology and Chemistry. He obtained a Master’s Degree from the University of Oklahoma in Educational Administration and an EDS (equal to educational doctorate) From Oklahoma State University.
Mr. Harrod has 30 years of experience as a superintendent of schools mostly in Oklahoma and some in Kansas. His first teaching job was as a math and physics teacher at Enid High School.
Mr. Harrod has 7 years’ experience as a general contractor and 13 years’ experience as an electrical contractor. He also owned and operated Harrod's Shoe Box for 6 years in Holdenville, and has work experience in heavy equipment operation. Mr. Harrod worked as a policeman when in college.
Mr. Harrod is an active member of Shawnee Masonic Lodge, Kiwanis, and the Elks.
He is married to Kaye Steele Harrod and they attend Life Church.
Commissioner Hall graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and from Southern Methodist University in 2000 with a Masters in Business Administration. His work history includes positions in engineering, management and operations consulting. Mr. Hall currently holds the position of associate partner in a leading management consulting practice.
