The City of Shawnee is aided tremendously by dedicated volunteers who serve on a variety of City boards, committees, and commissions.  These positions are voluntary and there is no compensation.  A Board member may serve up to two consecutive three-year terms (some exceptions apply).  For an overview, please review the current Board Members and Board Information (PDF).

If you are interested, please complete a City Board Application Form (PDF) and forward it to the City Clerk’s office.  Appointments are made by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Commission.
