Comprehensive Plan Survey Open
The Shawnee Comprehensive Plan will set forth goals; analyze existing conditions and trends; describe and illustrate a vision for the physical, social, and economic characteristics of the community; and outline policies and guidelines intended to implement that vision with a horizon year of 2040. As it has been 13 years since the last Plan adoption, an update is necessary to prepare and respond to new issues and emerging market conditions.
Citizen involvement is the cornerstone of the Shawnee Comprehensive Plan. Throughout the update process there will be a number of opportunities for citizen engagement, including a dedicated Plan website, online survey(s), community workshops, focus group interviews, and a series of public hearings.
