Though a never-ending struggle, the City of Shawnee is dedicated to finding and fixing the thoroughfare system for a safe and smooth experience. Due to the large area covered by the City, it is important for community members to report issues when they are seen to ensure that the City is aware of the concern and can begin to correct the problem.

In additional to street conditions, a safe transportation system includes proper lighting of the roadways. The majority of the street lights are maintained by OG&E and reports of outages can be sent directly to them. The best method is to report the outage with them online.
