Welcome to the City of Shawnee Parks and Recreation Department page. The following pages contain information about facilities, programs, classes, and special events offered throughout the city. Your family and friends can choose from a variety of fun and exciting things to be part of throughout the year. Parks
The City of Shawnee has 36 parks including the Shawnee Twin Lakes. The department maintains 610 acres of green space. Our parks range in size and landscape, green spaces are expanding for open play. 

Recreation
Shawnee's recreational facilities include the Municipal Auditorium, Senior Recreation Center, Community Center, and our state-of-the-art Shawnee Splash Water Park.  We strive to offer a variety of programs, events, and classes to a wide range of ages throughout these facilities.
