Join us for fun fitness classes for all levels! 
All classes are drop-in, no registration required.   
All classes are free for senior members, unless otherwise noted.

Chair Fitness-Stretching  - Monday, Wednesday 10:00-11:00am (Ages 55+ @ Rec Center)
Chair Fitness-Strength  - Tuesday, Thursday 10:00-11:00am (Ages 55+ @ Rec Center)
These low intensity workouts combine cardio, strength and flexibility, depending on the day.  All exercises are modified to completed in a seated position. (Low intensity & basic skill)

Objectives

  • Better Bone Health
  • Improve Quality of Life
  • Lower Risk of Dementia
  • Reduced Risk of Depression

Sail (Stay Active & Independent for Life) - Monday, Wednesday 1:30-2:30pm, and Friday 10:00-11:00am (Ages 55+ @ Rec Center)
This class will help you to increase strength, balance, and fitness and incorporate active movement into your everyday life.  (Beginning to medium fitness levels can all participate)

Tai Chi for Better Balance - Tuesday, Thursday 8:30-9:30am (Ages 55+ @ Rec Center) 
Modified Tai Chi series of movements providing balance, breathing, and stretching.  (Beginning to medium fitness levels can all participate)

Restorative Gentle Yoga - Tuesday, Thursday 1:30-2:30pm (Ages 55+ @ Rec Center) 
Passive, meditative form of yoga that allows you to focus on your breath while releasing tension in your body. (Beginning to medium fitness levels can all participate)

NEW PREMIUM CLASS!
Pound - Tuesday and Thursday 5:30-6:15pm (Ages 16-54 = $5.00, Ages 55+  = $3.00  @ Rec Center) 
Pound is a cardio jam sessions inspired by the infectious, energizing, and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums.  (Medium fitness level and above.  Modifications can be made, the important thing is to move safely and have fun!)
