Starting Wednesday, May 3, 2023, from 7a.m. – 7p.m., available every day of the week, a vegetation-only drop-off area will be available for Shawnee residents at the Public Works yard at 111 S. Kickapoo. Only vegetation is to be delivered to this site. All other debris is to be left curbside. Debris monitors at the site will be enforcing vegetation restrictions. Proof of Shawnee residency is required to use the site; this can be a current utility bill or driver’s license. If a resident chooses to use a contractor for vegetation removal, the same Shawnee residency requirements apply. The resident is required to show proof of Shawnee residency with the load.
