DEMOLITION OF AIRPORT TERMINAL - TUESDAY, APRIL 23RD

Demolition of the Shawnee Regional Airport Terminal Building is scheduled to commence Tuesday, April 23rd.
The contractor anticipates the work to last approximately two weeks, with the duration subject to weather conditions. The contractor will be addressing much of the demolition and hauling from the East/Street/Parking lot side of the terminal building but may need to access the ramp area from time to time.  Personnel transiting this area WILL be monitoring 122.7 for aircraft activity. 

Lighted low-profile barricades will be in place on the East perimeter of the FBO Ramp to demark the area of work. 

NOTAM’s advising of Work In Progress (SNL 04/009, SNL 04/010, and SNL04/011)  go into effect MONDAY April 22nd  at 1700 local/2200 ZULU the areas of the ongoing demolition work.

NOTAMs will remain in effect throughout the duration of the project.
-    The FBO Ramp will NOT be closed to aircraft movement however, barricades will be placed on the EAST SIDE to establish a safety buffer between the demolition work and aircraft activity. 
-    Self Service Fuel WILL remain accessible. 
-    Taxiway ALPHA from the Maintenance Service Ramp to the FBO Ramp will NOT be closed, though there may be equipment transiting the area. 
-    The Maintenance Service Ramp will NOT be closed but there may be equipment transiting the area.
