Shawnee, OK – July 28, 2023 - Heart of Oklahoma Expo Center Presents Inaugural Shawnee Classic Barrel Racing Event!

The Heart of Oklahoma Expo Center is excited to announce the inaugural Shawnee Classic Barrel Racing event, set to take in Shawnee, Oklahoma. This exhilarating rodeo extravaganza will bring together top-notch riders, fierce competitors, and enthusiastic spectators for an unforgettable weekend of action-packed entertainment and equestrian excellence.

The Shawnee Classic Barrel Racing event is scheduled to kick off on Aug 4th and run through Sunday. The expo center is the ideal host, boasting excellent facilities and a long-standing tradition of promoting the Western heritage in the region.

Barrel racing is a thrilling and challenging sport that showcases the incredible bond between rider and horse. Throughout the event, participants will demonstrate their exceptional horsemanship and precision as they navigate a cloverleaf pattern around barrels at breakneck speeds. The competition promises to be intense, with riders vying for cash prizes, prestige, and the coveted title of Shawnee Classic Barrel Racing Champion.

Spectators can expect a thrilling display of skill, speed, and agility, as riders from all across the nation converge on Shawnee to compete. The event is not just about the competition, but also about fostering camaraderie and celebrating the equestrian community. Families and individuals of all ages are welcome to join in on the fun, as we have prepared an array of family-friendly activities and vendors to ensure everyone has a memorable experience.
